Shortly after 1330 in the afternoon, West Bradford Fire Company and mutual aid were dispatched to a reported house on fire. As units started to respond, a giant cloud of smoke could be seen from miles away. Lieutenant 38B of Thorndale Fire Company was first on scene to report heavy fire on the alpha side. West Bradford Chief 39 Requested a tanker task force. Tanker 36 responded as well as Engine 36 with a crew of six! Upon arriving, four members from Engine 36 made their way to the scene of the fire, while the remaining two proceeded to the closest hydrant and secured a fill site for the tankers. The engine crew started throwing ladders on the outside of the residence as crews started fighting fire inside. Afterwards the crew made the push into the first floor rear corner rooms; all while fighting heavy fire and smoke throughout the residence. The crew then performed overhaul and checked for extension within the walls and ceilings. After almost 4 hours on scene Po-Mar-Lin was cleared from the call and returned to our station, ready for the next call.
