At 10:58 A.M., June 19th, 2021, Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company was dispatched for a grill on fire at the Kennett Square Golf & Country Club. Rescue and Tanker 36 made a swift response followed by the Utility with additional manpower. Upon arrival the Rescue crew found the reported grill fire to be mostly under control. The crew took quick action to extinguish the remaining smoldering embers around the grill that still had a propane tank inside. The crew then extracted the propane tank and began cooling it down with a hand-line while other members cooled off the grill itself and the surrounding area. Afterwards Po-Mar-Lin firefighters proceeded to clean up all the debris from the grill and fire to leave the area like nothing ever happened. Po-Mar-Lin Fire cleared shortly after being on scene for 30 minutes.
